A Healthy Vegetarian Chili Recipe

The second most common reason was to avoid additives and hormones commonly found in meat and animal products. After people turned vegetarians, people started to notice health improvements such as higher energy, weight loss and less risk of food poisoning. Around the world there are many cultures that offer mouth watering vegetarian recipes and some of the most common and most delicious are Mexican, Italian, Chinese and Indian vegetarian recipes.
Vegetarian chili is almost always the favourite of everyone in the household, it is not only full of vegetable fibre from all those beans but it has plenty of protein.
There are all kinds of vegetarian chili recipes varying in ingredients and seasoning but some of the common ingredients are onions, beans and garlic.It’s common to add additional ingredients, which could include celery, carrots, and tomatoes, but it is the seasoning that makes the difference.
Vegetarian Chili Recipe
3 tablespoons of olive oil
1 cup chopped onion
8 garlic cloves
2 19 oz cans of red kidney beans
2 19 oz cans of dark red kidney beans
1 envelope taco seasoning
1 tsp of dried basil
½ spoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon of dried thyme
1 15 oz can tomato sauce
3 cups vegetable broth
1 6 oz can of tomato paste.
Heat the oil until very hot in a large saucepan, add the garlic and onions. Fry the garlic and onions together until the onion becomes clear, then add beans, basil, taco seasoning, thyme, oregano. Stir together for a few minutes, add the tomato sauce and vegetable broth. Simmer until you get the thick consistency you want. To prevent sticking, make sure to stir on occasion. To finish off season to taste with salt and pepper. The best is always when eaten hot and fresh, but if need be reheating on low heat after being cooled in the fridge is a possibility.
Heat the oil and add
Now simmer and bring to boil stirring occasionally.
Here is another version of vegetarian chili recipe
400 gr diced tomatoes
2 vegetarian bouillon cubes
3 tbs flour mixed with 400 ml of cold water
cacao 85% 20 gr
cooking oil
Heat the oil Add
3 minced garlic cloves
5 crushed dried Chipotle peppers
1 crushed dried Pasillo pepper
1 crushed dried Ancho peppers
3 medium diced onions
500 gr ground vegetarian
touch of cumin and coriander
300 ml beer
The essence of all vegetarian chili recipes comes from blending all the ingredients together. Most people will use the ingredients as a starting point and change them to suite their tastes and preferences. As people are calorie conscious you can use less oil or fat free refried beans in your low fat vegetarian chili recipe.
