One Good Smoothie (serves 2)
12 oz. acai berry juice (frozen acai pulp may be used in place of the juice)
1 cup of plain soy milk (rice milk can be substituted)
One medium banana
One apple (leave the skin on)
Cubed mango (optional)
Blend all the ingredients together until smooth. Pour in a glass and sprinkle some sliced almonds on top. Drink and enjoy!
Wowie Zowie Smoothie (serves 2)
12 oz. acai berry juice
½ cup plain yogurt
1 cup soy milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
One cubed mango or papaya
One medium banana
Half dozen whole strawberries – use more if you’d like
One cup fresh pineapple (optional)
Blend all the ingredients together until smooth. Pour in a glass and if the mood strikes add a little paper umbrella or an orange slice on the rim of the glass…acai berry juice is yummy and looks good too!
